We are continually looking to expand our workforce, with opportunities for sub-contract carpenters on both a daywork & pricework basis, offering excellent rates of pay.

 

All applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, have a full tool kit and have own transport.

We have on going sites throughout East Anglia & The South East.

Job Type: Carpentry Apprenticeship:

 

ALN Carpentry are pleased to offer apprenticeship opportunities for those looking to begin a career in carpentry. 

​

Carpentry is one of the most skilled roles in construction, and to succeed as a carpenter you will have a keen eye for detail, adequate maths skills for measuring and calculating angles and the ability to follow technical drawings and plans.

​

Carpentry apprentices will be trained in all aspects of carpentry & work alongside our fully qualified carpenters.

 

On the job training will be provided, and apprentices will work towards a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Site Carpentry.

 

Requirements:

• Education - a reasonable standard of Maths and English.

• Skills - good woodworking skills and ability to read drawings.

• Personal qualities - reliable with a good attitude and able to work using your own initiative.

ALN Carpentry is based in Newmarket but apprentices could be working anywhere in East Anglia & the South East.

Standard working hours are 07:30 - 17.00 Monday - Saturday however you may attend college one day per week, with site work taking up the remaining 5 days.
